With more than 29 years of experience in healthcare, education and
enterprise, we have learned that many individuals who are responsible for
enterprise (outreach/marketing, customer-centricity, process/outcomes and
execution) initiatives for Air Medical Transport programs often have not
had the opportunity to gain formal education or training in the complex
and unique skill sets necessary to be effective, especially with limited
time and resources.
Aside from literature and texts that are generic for enterprise and
healthcare, in the beginning - we were unable to find a comprehensive Air
Medical Transport specific body of knowledge or tool set to be used as
sources for ourselves or our customers.
So we took action. We accumulated high-yield practices, assimilated and
organized them, and adapted these proven enterprise methods to Air Medical
Transport to create what was needed to enable our customers to have
operating principles, processes and technology in order to safely generate
sustainable, medically necessary and appropriate flight requests.
